ECOrasmus wants to make European educational youth work sustainable and green. There is plenty to improve.
Let’s start the adventure!
Just like a journey, youth projects have several important steps: from planning and preparing, travel, food and accomodation to the activities chosen. In every step we can make a difference to make our project more eco-friendly.
Planning is key to organise youth activities in a sustainable way.

Materials are not only expensive, they also have a footprint. Try reusing, replacing and just doing without. Learn here how.
Sustainable youth work can only be achieved in partnership. How can you work together effectively?
Here is where we spend a lot of time. How to make it a more sustainable and responsible place for us and our environment?
… a European initiative to make youth work greener.
Behind ECOrasmus are four organisations working together to create tools, resources, and networks for youth workers, NGOs, trainers, and young people interested in organising educational youth activities in a more sustainable way.
We believe that youth work needs to integrate values of sustainability and ecology in all kind of activities – from planning, to travel, to food and materials!
We want to build a strong, green network of youth workers, project managers, trainers and young people to learn together, inspire each other and share good practices in our journey to make youth work future-proof.
